I received a voicemail message from a person claiming to be Officer James Brown of the IRS with a warrant for my arrest. I haven't received any correspondence or anything like this. The man said I needed to call 888-959-5043 to find out more information. The number is the same one that showed on my phone when he called (888-959-5043). I believe this is an impersonation of an IRS officer, but I am concerned, of course. Could you recommend what I should do? I complained to the IRS and the IC3. Thanks for any direction you can give.
